Another of Antigua's kids, Maddie is tall and long like her dam. Sired by Autumn-Acres Tristin Shout. As a yearling she aborted but we hope as a two year old she'll carry to full term and kid in April 2012.

Luna is bred to Hemi for March kids. She comes from a great line of Autumn-Acres goats and her sire is Mint*Leaf Adventure. She stands on good feet and legs, and is the shorter of our lamancha girls.

"Vanuatu or Vannie" DOB 02/26/11
This little girl we call "Vanuatu"(yes, there is a story behind that name which is different from her registered name!) is 50% lamancha and 50% alpine, known as an "experimental" or grade doe. Yet another of Antigua's kids (can you tell we like her kids?!) we love her height and length and dairy character. We hope to get her in the show ring after kidding in 2012.

"Whisper" DOB 01/24/11
Whisper (75% lamancha, 13% alpine, 13% togg) hails from our original doe, Mindy (50%togg, 50% alpine) whom we purchased in 2007. Mindy was a terrific milker peaking at about 12 lbs/day. She was quite the obnoxious doe but she was my favorite. An escape artist, she often jumped or climbed fences or opened gates and let all the does out. Unfortunately her "talent" led to her demise and we lost Mindy after a five day battle with enterotoxemia. We had her daughter, Willow, dam of this kid also loose the battle with entero on the day we put her on DHIA in Feb '11. We have high hopes for Whisper( to fill some pretty big hooves!! Hopefully she won't be quite as prone to entero as her dam and granddam.
